Bible Study Resources

Nearly every translation and version of the Bible, ancient and modern, can be found on the Internet. Bible dictionaries, commentaries, sermons, devotionals, and much more provide quick access to information previously unavailable in any single location. We have listed a few of those resources here.

We encourage the exploration of these sites.  However, please remember that these are just tools.  It is easy to get lost in all the material and side tracked from the goal of your study, which should be to grow in your relationship to Christ.  Also keep in mind that these sites may include statements and interpretations that do not represent the views of Bethany Bible Fellowship or its leadership.

BibleGateway.com - A tool for reading and researching scripture online - all in the language or translation of your choice!  It provides advanced searching capabilities, which allow readers to find and compare particular passages in scripture based on keywords, phrases, or scripture reference.
 
The NET Bible Learning Environment

NET Bible Learning Environment - The New English Translation (NET Bible) online including nearly 61,000 translator notes.  It includes a Study Dictionary, Study Maps System, Arts, Word Studies, Sermon Illustrations, Daily Bible Reading.  When you search a verse it shows the same verse in nine English translations and the Greek or Hebrew, including the associated Strongs number. The NET Bible is downloadable.
