We want to thank our our brothers and sisters of the First Vietnamese Assembly of God for their warm hospitality and allowing us to participate in their celebration of the Lunar New Year (Tet).

DivorceCare Group

The Seed will offer DivorceCare on Wednesday evenings, February 3 through May 26, 6:45-8:15. The group will be facilitated by Bob Stimmler. DivorceCare is for those who are separated, those who have recently divorced, or those who may have divorced a number of years ago. It will provide a place of healing and spiritual, relational, and emotional growth through video sessions that are augmented with workbook application and group discussions. Cost is $13.25 for the workbooks and is payable at the first meeting. It would be helpful if you signed up on the action flap, but you will be welcomed if you just show up.

A note from Pastor Leckie When I see the pictures of Haiti on the news I am reminded of the following verse: I John 3:17 But whoever has the world's goods, and beholds his brother in need and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God abide in him? I have been thinking that we should try to help these folks during this terrible time of death and destruction.

Introducing Carrie Grummons

Welcome Carrie and family

Carrie & Samuel Grummons and their children Nathaniel & Aaron. Carrie is our new Jr Hi Ministry leader. She is a graduate of the University of Iowa (BA in Religious Studies - 2003) and Talbot Theological Seminary (Master's of Divinity - 2008). She served in the Student Ministry team at Cypress Church for five years.
